A monarch is elected based on her honesty and leadership capabilities. She is to serve one term of five years, but if the people suspect that the monarch is abusing her power and using it for personal purposes, she can be voted out of office if two-thirds or more of the people want a new monarch.

Governing Body
The government in The Hive is a monarchy. The monarch does not have too much power because we do not want her to abuse it, but she has many important responsibilities to keep our society running smoothly. The monarch is expected to look over the internal affairs of The Hive. She makes important decisions with the consent of the citizens of The Hive. She also makes sure that everyone receives the same amount of money. No one is allowed to be richer than the rest of the people, and no once can be left behind.

It's nice how everything fits on one page
ReplyDeleteIf everyone has an equal amount of money, then does it mean that everyone makes the same amount, or does it mean that if one person buys one thing, then everyone else has to buy something to make it even?
ReplyDeletewhat if some people are lazy and some aren't do they deserve the same?
ReplyDeleteA classless society with a monarch, and communism.
I do like the name Hiveans and I like the bee theme (except the monarch) and most everything else as well
i really like your AD
ReplyDelete"join the movement"
sounds persuasive (:
I don't get your ad? is it a hive like structure?
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of equality and the redistribution of income but isn't that unfair to those who work harder and earn more money?
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy how everything is very neat and organized and your AD is very persausive.
Just to make sure, the bees symbolize humans and humans are the ones actually living in this community?
I like how everyone is united to keep things running smoothly. It's nice how the monarch has limited powers, and makes sure that everyone receives the same amount of money. The citizens' journal entries made me comfortable by the fact that their family is really united. Seems like the youngsters have many opportunities to prosper in the future.
ReplyDeleteI like the Declaration of Independence. Sounds professional and is straight to the point.
ReplyDeleteYour community seems really socialistic. Although you have a pretty good ideal and goal in mind to change society and make people happier, you don't allow your people much freedom. Is it just me, or do two of your rules contradict? (numbers 6 and 11)
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if it is considered a monarchy if there isn't complete power.
